I did a quick search but didn't seee anything on this but my XBOX Master told me that XBOX LIVE now checks the size of your hard drive to see if it's been modded. I was wondering if any heard or read on anything about this?

No, it's not true.

But if you log onto live with the stock HDD, then mod your box and put a new HDD in you will be banned. (it checks serial numbers)

Seems to be a new rumor going around. I wouldn't believe it. If it was true you would hear about a lot of bannings going on.

I think once you are banned once (GT Flagged) they do more checks, possibly model # or disk.bin (what is going around X-S)

Because I had a friend with a flagged GT transfer play on my box that was fine for 2 months then got banned the next day.

Now of course my GT is flagged, but I now run dual drives (stock and large) and am fine (of course after a new EEPROM)
