Is it worth getting an SX lite modchip as of now?

Hello everyone!
I just got myself a switch lite recently and I've been thinking of getting a modchip to run homebrew and backups. I'm not too savvy with the switch since I just got my first one, so I'm assuming that an sx lite modchip is the only way to do this on a switch lite as of now.
If they are available yet, is there a reliable place to get/preorder one of these for the EU (Spain)? Are there guides to installing these?

SX Lite is worlds 1st and only way to do Lites

I don't think they are widely in stock yet

There are many stores that have the pre-orders up

Personally I went with aliexpress for my cores as they are more affordable, take paypal, CC and offer fast shipping

Quick question, I just checked out aliexpress to see if they have any modchips to sell, and pretty much all of them have the article formatted as 'payment for sx pro/lite'. What does that mean? Is it a preorder? Thanks in advance.
