Hey guys,
Great site!!! Alot of good information
I've been thinking about flashing for awhile now and after my dog chewed my PGR3 disc the other day this has confirmed my decision to go ahead with it.
I know I've got a Hitachi drive but I don't know which version yet. Before I check this I would like to know if my Motherboard with two sata connections
( 1 being used by a HDD and the other is free ) will be compatible.
I used a nifty little program called HWinfo32 to check my motherboards chipset.
The model is : Giga-Byte GA-8S648FX-775
The chipset is : SIS 648FX + 964
When I run the Msinfo32 - Component - Storage -SCSI the very first line of text in the left tab says NAME - SIS 180 RAID CONTROLLER
I was hoping someone here could tell me if my chipset is all systems go?
I'm planning on grabbing the samsung rom and pioneer burner and the xecuter connectivity kit but my current chipset has got me slightly befuddled.
Any feeback would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
