Is my xbox and xecuter chip gonna be fine in this spot ?

I know that there's a suggested way to place the chip with a wire install. But the way i installed it I couldnt get the wires to work with me, so all i wanted to know is if its gonna be fine in the spot i have it. I included a picture of it.

The chip should have come with double sided tape to stick it on the metal case. I personally wouldn't leave it sitting there like that. Also, why are you running your switch wires out the side of the case? I don't think they are long enough to reach the front going that way. You should remove the 1st and 2nd controller ports, and run the wires under there.
