I think my XBOX may be dead...

Basically i have a modded xbox that was working fine for months then the XAPTOR kept comming loose. I broke the XAPTOR ordered another one. I went to install the new one and reattatched my xaptor. But when i booted the xbox it restarted 2 times then the RED/GREEN blinking started on the open button.

I reinsterted the origional HD that it came with that was lying around the last couple months. Still when I boot that same thing occurs... WHat do you guys think is going on??

Someone on another board said it might be because the xbox motherboard bios was screwed up but they didnt't know how to fix it.

thanks,
Kevin

make sure you're xapter is seated properly in the lpc holes
you may need to clean the area with a q-tip and try re-seating the xapter

does your box work normally when you have the chip disabled?
do you get any error codes on the screen? if so, which error number?

Even when i removed the Mod chip was taken out of the xbox and I replaced the origional HD the xbox came with it would still reboot twice then stay on and have the RED/GREEN blinking on the Open button. There is no video on the screen.

I am thinking that the TSOP chip's bios was screwed up. I am thinking about just ordering a 1.1 motherboard with the connector soldered on and the D0 point soldered. Then ill just slip my Xecutor 2.6 on. Looks like i can get one for $80.

What you think? Any other ideas???

Any chance you scratched up a trace on the motherboard while working with the two solderless adapters? Breaking a trace could cause the unmodded FRAG.
