I installed a x2.6 mod in a v1.6 xbox and I turned it on and the Xbox logo came on and went straight to the xbox screen, i thought i wasnt installed right so i took out the chip and pout it back on the pins and tried to turn it on and all of a sudden getting no power, i cant turn the machine on at all. I was wonderinf if someone can help me...much appreciated.
Is my Xbox ruined? Installed x2.6 mod in v1.6, and No power....

Remove everything - start again. Check power connections, all the obvious stuff. Remove the chip for now as well.

Nope still nothing, checked to see if theres any points soldered together, everthing seams ok, but im not getting any power to the motherboard...

Check the fuse on the power supply. Next check you've connected the power connector to the motherboard. finally ensure you have the power/eject button cable plugged correctly into the motherboard. These are the only things needed to test the Xbox. Leave everything else disconnected.
