is my xbox S patchable ( can be flashed / modded .. ) ? and after patch question

Hello everyone ,
im new to this forum and the whole xbox 360 world , anyway , i got my xbox 360 S few days ago and i want to know if its patchable or no
i still didn't opened the case cuz im afraid that i will not be able to return it back , so is there a way to know if its patchable or no without opening the case and using these info ;

MFR date : ( found on back of the console ) 23 - 03 - 2012
DVD case : BenQ or Philips ( depending on a picture found on internet )

and if its patchable ( lets say i took the xbox to some guy and opened it for me and said that its patchable ) , will i be able to play any game ? i mean is there any condition that won't let me play some games ?
because the raison of patching the xbox is that i can't afford to buy all those great games so i want to patch it to be able to play all games ( like patching PS2 before so it will make all burned cds work )

Did you read the news page before posting?

Of course you can play any game - any original game disc will play just fine on an XBOX 360 console .

well its not what i meant my friend
im not talking about original DVD games , im talking about burned iso's downloaded from the net , after i flash the drive or patch the xbox
i mean after flashing my xbox ( if its possible ) will i be able to download any iso from the internet and burn it to a dvd and play it ?
