for the old xbox to be able to play new games?

while this might be a stupid question for others...people like me who just got their boxs modified would be happy.

save money - after i spent a couple of $$$ here comes the 360...well to save money why just get a chip that would enable for the old xbox to play the new games?

i personally could care less about the new extras for the xbox now to be honest. i just need to be able to play games and thats it. i know theres tons of people who would love to have the 360 now, but im pretty sure theres quite a few people who are in my boat as well.

1)Obviously you have no idea how consoles work. It would be IMPOSSIBLE to make the current Xbox play Xbox360 games, first off the 360 is going to be god knows how many moe times more powerful then the current xbox (please fill in if you know). making the current console work with the new games would mean a TOTAL over-haul of the current xbox replacing ALL parts to suit the spec of the 360 THEN you would have to have the X360 Software/OS stored on the Xbox.

2) dont be so much of a flipping cheapskate and go and buy the console, that means if you dont have enough money to buy the console well BOO HOO YOU, you have NO right to be able to play the games on ANY other format (AKA Xbox1) in the first place.

SO if YOU DONT READ THE ENTIRE LOT OF THIS RAMBLE TO PUT IT IN A NUT SHELL - NO FLIPPIN CHANCE MATE.

The reason that the 360 has all that new hardware and proccessors and crap is because that's what's needed to run the games.

It's like if you bought a stock neon... and the srt-4 came out... and you wanted to go as fast as an srt-4 by... let's say putting the srt-4 sticker on your neon...

It won't happen because yo have no intercooler or turbocharger or nothing...

Hmm....well if brand new state of the art hardware backed by one of the richest companies in the world can emulate a 3.5 year old device which is a piece of junk by comparison, then obviously it could work the other way around

I'm just gonna go and play Goldeneye 64 on my NES now, since it must be possible.
