is the pcb for the liteon 7-9 series the same for the slims 9504-0225

i was unlocking a slim using a dremel. i am pretty good at it and never have bricked a drive. I get the beeps and i hit read, jf freezes and the chip starts getting hot, then it crashed and i tried to intro it again and it would pop up but it would say 0x00 and whatever, like not the stuff u want, the memory size would be n/a. Then when i intro'ed it, it would say "please return mra hack device to normal position". when i am not using the mra hack, i assume thats the chip for the 03 version of the board, i am using a winbond version. I did play around and get the 0x00 to pop up and i did lock the drive, and i can unlock it and it does the beeps but the chip doesn't ever read, or write or erase. So i assume the chip is dead, i do get it to intro 0x72, but thats pretty much it. So i was wondering since i got a couple rrod xboxs, i assume a few have liteon drives, say i used a pcb from those drives would it be identical or do i need to buy a unlocked pcb, the team xecuter one is kinda expensive, so would this one be fine :http://www.ebay.com/itm/XBOX-360-Or...791&pid=100005&prg=1088&rk=1&sd=330836581721&

So i assume the steps here are jtag the slim, grab the keys, flash them to the new pcb and solder and install that back in. I assume u can still jtag the "2.0.16203.0" dashboard with a coolrunner

You should already have the dummy.bin before drilling. It's in the JF manual.

fuking christ, i just noticed how stupid i was, holy sh*t, i cant even say how stupid i was, its must be over 9000. i assume there is no way of getting the dummy now. FUKAKSKAFKSFKKFAKFASKFA

Your best bet is to send it to someone to sort out for you.

So many errors and for someone who finds a £30 board 'expensive', errors you cannot afford to make.

Suffice to say it will cost you a lot more to fix now.

They'd get your DVD details from the console and write a new firmware to an LTU board.

Nope - it has to be an LTU as you neglected to follow the tutorials to get your dummy.bin before attempting the kamikaze.

The PCB you have is toast.

no thats the point of ltu,to allow putting a drive back in a f**ked console,and flash the newer drives.
