Hello I was wondering if I should buy the r-jtag ultimate kit to mod my xbox.Ive tried a countless number of times trying to rgh 2 my xbox's with no luck.If I buy the kit am I guaranteed a jtaged console or is this just another glitch.
Is the R-Jtag Worth It?

What motherboard are you trying to glitch? I have had great boot times with and little work from the default settings with jasper and falcon so far. That is all I have had to try yet. I know some people have had issues with Zephyr but I have none to try. Have you decent soldering skills the ability to follow directions and patience you should be able to glitch anything.
So its guaranteed to work but ill be able to tweak to make the boot times quicker?
And for herseys, i would but its that im more of a d.i.y person even if im over here pulling my hair out

If you didn't succeed with RGH2 you probably won't with R-JTAG as well. RGH2 works fine of Jaspers and Falcons, in worst case scenario it boots in 2 minutes, usually withing 30 seconds.

Well for piece of mind I have a 16mb Jasper that was a horror to get rgh2. Still erratic, 2-10 minute boots.
I got the rjtag, now I still get some erratic boots but with Rater, I get some more info. Looks like it needs a reball as i do get 1 cycle glitches along with 10.
But bottom line was, it would glitch within 2 mins each time.
I stuck the same rjtag into a falcon i just got and getting instant boots.
I think it's well worth it.

Rjtag is a brilliant bit of kit. Even if it takes 4 cycles its ten times better than rgh2 lol
Ive had a few dodgy consoles though that would freeze alot at 2E HWINIT but after a Few more cycles it booted. Only jaspers ive seen that with though. Falcons are nice.

i have only had one console that would not boot at all for some reason it was a folcan , i nearly killed it lol just trying to get it fixed now , but all others folcon and jaspers great boot times compared to rgh

I have installed r-jtag into 3 consoles. 1 Jasper, and 2 falcons..... i prefer the jasper..... one falcon wouldnt boot R-Jtag no matter what i did, the other one worked great, but someone had previously reflowed it like twice, so after i put it together i gave it to my girls kid, and then it over heated.... so rrod there. But my jasper 256M with demon boots every time within 4 cycles usually takes 2 at most. and on my jasper i used jumpers 2-7-8, 1.8v jumper, and aud clapm wireing with 440Ohm resistor. Got perfecto boot times. every console is different though, so take your time, and do it right.
