Is the Xbox 360 Premium nowadays fine?

I stopped using it since 2009, but I am thinking about using it for my daughter.
All it has is the Stealth hacked firmware, a Samsung drive and the default low capacity hard drive.

Can you please tell me if it's able and how to use all the new big hard disks so that I can store game backups on them, and if it can use Kinect or not?

Any software solution or do I have to use now a modchip?

if it has a sammy drive like he says its most likley a xenon...........and btw the premium,pro,arcade thing,that realllllly only pointed out what all was included with the unit at purchase,as arcade was just a console and cords and controller,pro had 120gb hdd and 2 controllers i believe,so all that pro,arcade sh*t was just referring to what you got with them new.just thought id add that.

It doesn't have a HDMI port indeed.

So what? MS found a way to stop those old model at all from using hacks and modchips?
You mean I can't execute 'backups' directly from the HDD? :frown:

I wouldn't care about not playing online as it will be used by my little daughter for games with Kinect.

It *might* be an older update as all I remember was I updated it because of the new Dashboard layout (compared to the beginning one) and I still was able to play stealth backups online safely.

However as soon as I can I will power it on and check the version.

*Update*
I still haven't checked my console, but giving a quick look at Wikipedia I *might* be at v2.0.7357.0 (the 'big GUI change' version). :fingercrossed:

Unfortunately it's version 2.0.8955.0! :facepalm:

So I guess I need a new console, right?

looks like it pal. Best bet is to get a jasper motherboard xbox 360. u will just need the console only since u have the leads already. Or u can go for a slim model.

What price are we talking about?
Because a new Stingray console costs about € 100,00-120,00.
