Is there a need to upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.0.3?

I read a post on http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/ goto the BIOS FAQ. It suggested to update to xecuters most recent flashbios which is the 3.0.3 flashbios. Is there any benifets? A flashbios is just the utility to flash the X3 bios?

i think the only reason to update that is if you have a 1.6b you need 3.0.3 if you dont have a 1.6b dont mess with it if im wrong let me know thx ? :lol:

hitachi trouble?

I just flashed my hitachi today and still wont play my back ups.
now its flashed with 1.51
i pot tweaked it to 3.15
still plays my originals just fine
i have went to stock and reflashed three times
it simply says open tray to any back up disc i put in?
also can i spoof a hitachi for a benq? i could switch my benq off my banned box to this but i wanna put my hitachi back in tmy banned one

sounds like you need to tweak the way you burn games

check to make sure you are using the best media, as hitachis are often picky

if that doesn't work, just keep POT tweaking until the backups work

well i have 4 xbox's 2 banned and 2 not, 2 hitachi, 1 benq, 1 liteon
*lite on original*
1 hitachi banned
1 benq banned
1 hitachi origial <<< the one i am trying to mod now.
But my games play fine on my banned ones just fine so i know its not the games
*i ended up spoofing both hitachi and the benq around bc i want lt1.1 works great, but now i am hoping that the hitachi will work on the other box now.... but i think its same problem but its spoofed as a benq ifthe hitachi still wont play back ups i will be back on thank you
