is there a way to know the type of drive?

I'm going to buy an xbox 360 at the store tomorrow. i don't want another benq one (the one i had i sold it to a friend who dont want to mod) is there any way to tell if it likely has a good drive or anything? like mfd? or something?

I don't know of any external markings and they probably won't open the box for you to check so mfd is all we got.

Benqs started showing up last fall, so maybe look for a mfd earlier than July 2006.
