flash protect is enabled from the switch but i want to know if its enabled on the chip. i have an x3ce so i know i could open up my xbox up and check the leds but i want to save myself the hassle.
is there a way to tell if flash protect is enabled?

if its enabled on the chip... you wouldnt be able to install a bios. Boot up to your second bank... turn it off on the switch, try to flash something... if you get a unknow version, it's enabled on the chip.
