Is there anyway to format an external harddrive past the 32gb storage limit. im running a cr4xl modded corona v2 on dash 16747.

i wanted to use it for dlc and save games. all im looking todo is creating either a bigger VHD in fatx or format the whole thing to fatx.
Format your External storage device with windows/mac.
file system should be FAT 32
I have used a 2 TB hard drive this way and it works awesome.
Now remember that Retail dashboard is not going to see it as xbox 360 storage device. it will recognize it but only give you the option to configure it and this option will only use up to 32 GB
So if you want to browse or Input data on your external storage device (the one you just formatted) you will need to use Xexmenu or FSD

depending on what size it is storage wise and whether or not it is a 2.5' or 3.5' you might have a few more options let me know and we can go from there
in that case your options are slim. you could Flash the 2.5' as a retail hard drive but you would only get 500GB out of it.
best bet is.
use the 1 tb drive for extracting games to it or FTP( format is FAT 32)
though some games require a HDD no matter what so that is mado to have a xbox 360 formatted HDD. you could store game saves on that as well or use a USB flash drive

Wait, lemme get this straight...
I can take my 1 or 2 TB external portable HDD, format it to FAT32, throw some games I made via ISO2GOD on it, and FSD will read it and play games from it?
