Hi Guys

Just attempting my 2nd jtag on a Xenon console. I have two areas of concern, they might actually be ok from what I've been reading but I would like that to be confirmed!

1. Installed nandx pro and dumped nand 3 times. All dumps match and all dumps have 5 bad blocks in the same places every time. I believe these blocks to be out of the Xell writing range so there is no need to repair is that correct?

2. After leaving the bad blocks as they are I wrote Xell to the nand and powered up with eject button, usual Xell screen followed but I received some new error messages that I haven't seen before:

Am I good to continue on to create a freeboot image now or are these Xell errors bad block related hence need remapping?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Cheers
Mark

Just use your CPU key and create freeboot. If I'm not mistaken also no need to remap the bad blocks any more, best to use latest version of jtag tool.

Cheers manwithoutname.

I have the latest Jtag Tool. So should I use the standard create freeboot.bin button or this new create freeboot.bin (bad blocks) button?

I am just about to try the normal method first so no doubt I will have answered my own question in a minute.

Cheers

Good, have fun with your Jtagged Xbox360 ;)

Now, since everything is sorted...
