Iso Image Required After DVD2XBOX Rip?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but after ripping a game to the Xbox HD, and then FTPing it to your PC HD, can you burn it right away or do you need to create an ISO image before burning?

If you have to create an ISO image before burning, what's the most used program?

yea, you need to use quix to make an ISO before burning it. You need to use an app that makes the proper xbox iso, and a popular one is quix.

Is quix similar to Craxtion? I've also been told to try Craxtion, but it seems to have a lot of redundant features compared with DVD2XBOX...

they are completely different. dvd2xbox is what you use to rip the games off the dvd ont he xbox, and quix/craxtion is the PX app you use to create the iso's.

my experience with craxtion is it is VERY buggy and the developer doesn't like to hearabout bugs or attempt to fix them. i prefer quix, it goes along great with avalaunch. you can make the iso on your PC right from the xbox HDD. look to the tutorials i linked to.

you use dvd2xbox if you plan on keepin it on your Xbox HD if you are just using it then ftp the file to burn them off and play the game by dvd you can skip the dvd2xbox part. The only reason I said this it that is what one of me buddies was doing. I have a stock HD due to xbox live so I burn off all backup and just ftp straight from the xbox dvd rom
