ISOs and xisos

When i want to burn an xbox cd, can i use qwix to create the iso and then burn the iso with the default settings??????? I am asking because i tried this and the cd did not work. The media semms to be alrite (Its some no-branded DVD+R) I had burned slayer's installer to the media so i know that it works.

i create ISOs the exact same way, and i have never had a problem. it very well could be your media (and you just got lucky with the slayers disc)

my suggestion... get some RITEK DVD-Rs

and try burning with them. i have never had one of these not work in any XBOX i have tried. +Rs are a little tricker and i have had issues with them before.

something odd i noticed, if you finalise the disk after burning my phillips drive wont read the disk at all, but if u burn in nero, with standard settings, (but slowest burn time) you should be golden.

(ps i use RITEK disks, they are only 6 quid for 25, well worth it IMHO)

Make sure you "Create an Image" with NERO rather than "Create a Data Disk".

The best luck i've had is using Alchole 120%.

That thing does the trick after i get done with Quix.
