Image of R-JTAG board: No img of wires connected to rjtag because I removed it and the drive to get a good look at the motherboard to be sure nothing was on it causing a bridge.

Images of close-up soldering to motherboard: Some of the pads look dull because of the light.

Description of problem: My buddy gave me a Ultimate Kit after he couldn't get it to work and I got xell installed and got my cpu key and then made my img and wrote it to the nand and its booting fine, just need to tune it a little better.

But I'm having a issue, If I hold the the center guide button on the controller it powers off the console but the wireless controller doesnt go off with it. I pull the battery from the controller to power it off, once its powered off I boot the console and soon as I press the power button on the front of the console the player 1 led comes on to even though the controller is off. Anyone have any idea on what would cause this?

Was the console working before you started: Yes and it Boots into FSD just fine now.

Removed rjtag and all wires connected to the v3 qsb and put original nand img back on the console and it's still doing it.

Only things connected to the motherboard are all the QSB's.

Does it do this with only this controller. Have you tested with other ones?

I only ask as Im assuming its a fault with the controller and coincidence its happened now so need to rule it out by testing another contoller.

Then that rules out my assumption lol. The controllers communicate with the ROL, is there any way this could have been damaged during the assembly?

Other than that I would remove the qsbs and test but I can only see that issue arrising due to the ROL boards communication with controller.

Does the same with 3 diff ROL boards, if I pull the ROL board and put it back in then power on the player 1 led doesn't come on when i press the power button on console with the controller off.

if R2P12 is good, change to the AUD_CLAMP setup, and unsolder the point to that resistor. Then rebuild your NAND with the AUD_CLAMP option and flash. You not even have the unsolder that point, try adding the wire and changing the jumper to 1-3 first. Then update and flash.

R2P12 was bad, I had a old rrod board laying around so I swapped the resistors around and its working great now. I removed the jtag qsb so should I just wire it up as aud_clamp or the way i had it?

It's up to you, I would leave it as it is if it's working.

// sorry I misread your question, use AUD_CLAMP as Martin C suggest.
