Issue with booting my X3

Wow, this is really a cool chip guys good work. I have one issue though and i was wondering if you could help me. I have my X3 in and evox installed, but i can't open my dvd tray, when ever i do my xbox just shuts off, and then when i press the power button it goes to the flash bios screen. I've been looking around for a while and i don't know if this effects me:

4) Cant boot the mod chip disabled by holding the power button.
-- Check the solder points on the back of the reset/eject daughterboard. Multiple reports of people (me included) that had a solder bridge on one of the connections. this caused the x3 to always think I was pressing the power button AND the eject button at boot.

I have checked them and they are fine, but i still can't open tray, disable the chip, or anything of that nature, i was hoping some of you had some ideas.

Re: can we use kinect with a modded console? banned?

your gonna propebly need a dashboard update, so yeah think its possible if you uncripple the consol and update the dashboard via usb.
