I searched around a bit but didn't find anything specific to my issue.
I have an internal 2.5" 500GB Sun Microsystems drive that I am attempting to format for internal slim use. When I insert the hard drive into the console bay, the Memory page shows it as unformatted, but as soon as I tell it to format (and put in my serial #), the Format Device bar goes to half way and then just stays there. The console isnt frozen because the center circle is still spinning, but it never goes past this page.
Any ideas on why this is happening? I have tried two seperate RGH consoles, and both did the same thing. I have also tried using the drive in a computer, and it works just fine.
Or maybe does anyone know of a way to format a hard drive for internal xbox use on a PC? So that I could plug it into my PC and basically do what the console is trying to do? Thank you
