It just freezes...

Right after I turn on the XBOX 1.6a with the X.26ce on, I set it to 3.01, and it freezes right when it shows the five options. Help!

I asked a friend to solder the modchip for me, and he probably screwed up at the pcb fix. Is that why?

The PCB fix is screwed up because he over-soldered the pind to the board.

If it was a soldering problem you wouldn't get Flashbios. My guess is you are not using a standard Microsoft controller, and that's why you can't navigate the menu.

I (I mean my brother, because it's his XBOX) have two Original XBOX S Controllers. I guess I need the original XBOX controller to do the job then.

So, it wasn't the soldering: my friend's brother did it correctly. Fine, I must borrow my cousin's original controller to do the flashing. But I want to flash from an auto-installer <<< can I?
