It's been 2.5 years on lt v3.0 now what?

Purchased and hacked my son's 360 with your great tools and got the liteon as well.

Everything has been going great for my son, making backups etc etc.
We haven't upgraded any firmwares or anything in two years. Now I'm having issues with gtaV backups and one other. I'm getting disc unreadable error for a couple new backups though all the old ones working great

Was there a major update I needed to do that I am not aware of? Did something major change?
I don't really remember about all this stuff but I still have all your tools I bought and the xbox360 is still hacked and so is the liteon. I still have the little USB tool thing that connects to the back of the 360 but haven't used it since LTv 3.0 came out..


Should I do anything?

LT 3 is the latest. Make sure you run your rips through ABGX and follow the recommended guides for kprobe etc. You havent missed anything.

I do abgx everytime.

It seems I have problems with the 16gb 2 discers vs the 8gb singles.
Maybe I need new firmware for my liteon Ihas124b? Or maybe I need to change something In imgurn?

I don't know but Ive burnt 8 coasters so far, burning @ slowest, using verbatim discs on the ihas....

did u install disc 1 to the internal hard drive? DISC 1 = mandatory install (dlc content)
DISC 2 = play game disc

you don't burn disc 1 you install it to hdd

I think rick was referring to mk003 verbs, which are the best. Op - please post Xbc, abgx and imgburn logs, also kprobe results would help in diagnosing the issue. Just install disc 1 using u'r retail disc like ablegepu suggested.

no need of saying thank you when you talk negative and don't know everything you talking about. when I said that that was a hint of truth because that happen to me a long time ago. not saying that is his problem they made them at two places over seas one in Singapore and the other one I forgot that other place but I like to use made from Singapore I get better results. they say the other place use a different die setting to make them. so ablegepu just read a little more you need to. you just got here jan 2014. give me a thank you too.

Verbatim's from Singapore have always been the preferred choice since before either one of us knew anything about modified Xbox 360's any one who ever read the original tutorials would know that. I had another account and lost my password so I just made this one this year. I have been here longer than you think I just lost my password to my old profile so I just made this one this year because my old one never even had one post on it and I like browsing the threads and helping out where I can. No need to get worked up because I pointed out a spelling error, I make spelling errors all the time and I've been flamed for it too. I'm pretty sure I don't know everything there is to know, but I try to educate myself and a lot of the time when I'm browsing here I learn new stuff almost everyday. But at least I'm trying to help instead of posting likes and dislikes as opposed to useful information. Sorry I offended you, I was really just teasing you, and we all knew exactly what you were talking about.

Nope can't install disc one of either gta5 or watch dogs. Burned them slow too

As has already been suggested. U don't need to burn disc 1 of either of those games. Just install disc 1 from your retail copy and run the game from disc 2. Simples.

Then you get a new retail copy of the game. Even If you bought the game before, ripped and Lost the retail copy im sure it counts as piracy since you no longer have the original copy in your possesion.

Hypothetically banned for saying argh? I'm lost. So would I get banned if I Lost both sets of discs, never installed, then burned a friend's copy, and asked about installing those?

How about we go this route.

Is there known problems from other people installing ripped copies of those games? If the DID have problems, what would those problems be and why?
