Hi, I have just installed the Xecuter 3 chip. I have checked the soldering, and i looks fine. However, when I power the box up, the switch shines red, showing that it is off, it then turns off, then on, then off, then on and FRAGS. Could this still probably have something to do with the soldering? Possible the Rebuild? Please help me, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Aslo, Im using a 1.6 Xbox. Oh, and I forgot to mention, that only the HD lights up (on the switch) blue, and not the LAN, is this normal?

most likely soldering..
but worth checking u have switches set correct,

old black panel switches
on,on,off,off,off (flash protect)

new x pro switch (left to right)
off (flash protect),on,on,off,off

Gah, I dont think its the switches....Man, I want it to just work! Im so frustrated!! I guess ill just have to check and recheck the soldering

does your xbox work without the x3 connected?

if so, it's definitely a soldering problem and you have to reheat
all the points to make sure the solder is flowing to the right area
for a better connection
