I've install my X£... what next?

Hi,

I've just installed my X3 chip. What do I do now to play all region DVDs and my backups games?

first you need a BIOS to install, i would recommend the x3 bios on xbins

then you need a dashboard (menu) like xbmc (xbox media centre) to play movies and unleashx to play and copy backup games

k, that sounds great. my bro has done the flash bios bit and thats sounds.
So where does one get the dash from then?

I was also reading if I upgrade my HDD it'll screw XBOXLIVE... any truth in that do you know?

What would you flash

I have an old xbox360 that needs reball, it is good for jtag but has an Hitachi DVD (so no live) (never banned) but I also have a brand new xbox360 arcade. My question is should I go through the expense of getting the old one up and running or just go for the new one. Is it really worth it to jtag an xbox that is not able to get on live?

Jtags aren't meant to be used online anyways, they're banned within a few hours when they are.

Jtag the old console and sell it.

Get the new one flashed.

yes it is worth the jtag also listen to what was said by farly stay off live or you will be banned in hours
also if you decide just to flash the drive try spoof to a newer drive like the benq
