ixtreme firmware 01% plz help

Ok i have a problem reading my firmware
I have a ms 25 samsung drive and i am attempting to flash it with the new firmware

so this is my problem

i boot into DOS

C:
cd XTREME

[Boot my xbox]

xRead xxxxxxx xxxxx [serial]

then select xtreme pri master

then it starts reading....... 01%

then nothing happens it is just stuck on 01%

so what is my problem ???????

is it because i am not useing 0800 disc to disable firmguard

if so where can i download it ????

or am i having this problem because i have a ms 25 ??????

well if you have already flashed it you will first need to disable firmguard. Then you flash the drive normally. he 0800 iso can be found in the downloads section.

usually reads fairly quick
are you using a compatable chipset and is MTKflash hexedited correctly?

are you sure its a MS25 it could possible be a MS28.

Try using the 10 second trick

it might be a ms28 i riped the sticker off so i am to sure ...
i just thought it would be a ms25 coz it was 1 of the first out

+ where can i get info for the 10 second rule ???? (tut)

that is the first time i heard about it

First remake your boot disc with the MS28 options checked

start doing everything normally until you get to the xread/samread

Then type xread/samread xxxxxxx xxxxx

Let it find your drive,(should be labeled as xtreme)

Now turn off the xbox 360

Pick your drive from the list to read the firmware and it should do nothing.

Wait 10 seconds and turn the 360 back on and it should read the firmware

Then Flash using the same process
