i have flashed many drives so im not a total noob, but no matter what drive i hook up j/f dont detect them. this is just a recent problem. i have a ck3 pro and never had a problem before any ideas????

i did everything in that link you sent and still nothing. its not this drive, its doing it on 3 differant drive. 1 sammy, 1 benq and a lite on maybe ill just get the usb360 and be done with this one
What drive does it say you have? I've seen JF see my PC's IDE drive before rather than my 360 liteon. I just unplugged the USB leads and plugged them back in and JF detected the Liteon just fine.

Have you tried with an activate disk in the drive? I read something about using that in another thread previously. Might be worth a go
using a via card and the sata still looks new i just dont understand how it goes from working to not from not flashing for about a month
Same here but I have usbpro connecting slim 0401 drive clicked slim key, started, error, no drive detected. Same thing with 2 different laptops 2 different drives although my benQ did get picked up a few times. I was messing about for about a hour 2 different jf versions checked all the cables was tight and still nothing. I don’t know why but I changed the Molex power adaptor and the sata cable and it worked fine after that.
