J-R Programmer flashing

So I used the X360USB PRO Update Tool v0.14 to flash it, but the red LED stayed on, and now nothing happens when I plug it in. No LED comes on, and it's not drawing any power. Did it fry it somehow?

*edit* fixed it, though I'm not quite sure how. I just got up, and came back about ten minutes later and the LED was back on.

To be honest, I have been through 3 of those and I've never had success to this day using one, I tried to use it once and it just didnt work out, I'm sure I was missing a step and probably was, but I got into the same mess and the way I got out of it was to leave it off for at least a day I suppose (actual time was almost a week) and then when I plugged it again, it worked like the first time I used it. I was so glad I had my nandx on hand. I'm not sure what happens with these but it seems to be a common PITA for most people.

been on the same jr programmer v2 since its rls now.been through 4 nandx since it came out.lol
