I am modding my first Xbox 360 Slim. It has a Corona V2 motherboard, with the 4GB nand. I got some help here in purchasing the right parts for what I am doing. In my case, the JR Programmer isn't needed. I had a couple questions, as I have a couple more consoles I will be doing.

1. In this particular instance, the JR Programmer wasnt needed, I was curious why, and in what instanced will I need it. Also, is it something permanently installed, or just used for a purpose then removed.

2. Also, I do not need the post fix adapter. I have googled and searched these forums, I was curious what this part is, and why/when its needed.

Thanks in advance. If there is a guide here that does explain this, I apologize for asking this here, I did search, there is a lot of how to install, just couldn't find many why's.

Hi, the short answer that you want to know is: You just need to use a JRP in order to read/write via SPI (Non eMMC nand such as the 4GB one) and also to program a chip vía Jtag, chips like CR4 and CR3 PRO are already programmed. The postfix adapter is used when the console doesn't have the Post_out trace needed to perform RGH,(just some corona boards). But I really recommend you to read free60.org or whatever you need to fully understand what are you doing, that's essential, I (almost) never work with a PCB if I don't know which signals I am working with.
