Hey Uber are you saying that reading the (ST) NANDS is merely an issue with using a nandX with V3 code? I just had a slim trinity board MFR January 2011 and it WOULD NOT read. I didnt see whether it was a Hynix or ST nand but now I'm starting to think it was an ST because I was having the EXACT same issue. Can you confirm that simply re-programming the nandX back to V2 code would allow reading of ST nands?

Programming the nand-x firmware back too V2.0 code as well as nandpro 2.0B will do the trick . UberGeek confirmed this.

I was able to flash mine back easily enough. Although I'm using the nandX USB update cable and Flash Magic. Using the xspiflash.hex file thats in with nandpro2.0b. I don't have the CK3i but I know I've never had any problems flashing it with the USB update cable. They're only $12 so you should try picking one up and giving that a go.

Are you sure your Flash Magic settings are set properly? I had no problems with following this guide for updating my nandx (and reverting)

http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=74259

Also try changing the Baud Rate to a lower or higher value and the Oscillator Frequency to 14.745Mhz if you have problems using 12Mhz.

If you have already done all that then again I suggest picking up a nandX USB update cable. Works like a charm.

I verified TX and RX.CKI send the signals and received when i put in loop both points.I think the problem is V3 bootloader.
I spent an entire day trying to put things together.I check and recheck a thousand times.Trying all the hints from the dedicated thread.I think USB cable solution is better.

If only a miracle it will happen and i can downgrade that damn NandX via CK3i
I think an update of J-runner who can solve this problem it will be a better solution.

Use a NAND-X with v2 code - I already told you.
Just for your info:
This is the log with NandPro V2:

Looking for usb interface device
Could not detect a flash controller!
Can not continue

In Jrunner dev mode i always get:

0x0000000 flash config

Problem solved.
As a short info:
1. Mainboard is Trinity 100% (This is for Ubergeek)
2. I tried all the classic dump procedures with NAND-X, Matrix MTX SPI nand flasher with all NANDPRO versions.I couldn't dump the firmware from ST NAND128W3A28N6.
3. After several days of hard work with Nand-X and MTX Spi nand flasher, i used Progskeet Crystal Blue 1.1 with Progskeet Flasher and everything work.More work to do with Progskeet but it's worth it.
4. Maybe NAND-X and J-Runner need an update for this type of problems.
5. Some pics below.....
6. I solved this problem with the good help of my friend Donely, a very skilled modder

P.S. I'm not a noob, i'm a console modder from the beginning of the modding scene.
