j runner created file query

hi,

i have a phat (falcon) that was running freeboot 13604
i decided to upgrade to to the later dash 14719,
so i took my two dumps saved from original RGH, and using j runner compared them, which was verified, so was the cpu key.
so i created a new image using the 14719 option.
it said it created ok, i flashed the console with the xenon.elf option. again this completed ok.
it now boots into 14719, however it seems to be freezing a lot, which it very rarely did when using the 13604 dash.
unsure what to try next i thought i might try to reflash again by creating a new 14719 image.
again this all was created without any errors.

before i tried a reflash i thought why not compare the two 14719 images created by jrunner, and they do not match, i have created 5 now all from the same nanddump files/cpu key on the same pc using jrunner and 14719 files.
i cant get any of the new images to match with each other, is this normal?
i would have thought they were all the same once created from the same files using same tool on the same pc.
also if the freezing continues can i just write the saved freeboot13604.bin i had saved from original rgh, not sure if LDV's or anything like that would prevent me.

any help would be appreciated, seems to be one of the "if its not broke dont fix it" scenarios

not sure about the freezing issue you have there but about the non-matching dump problem I can say that double check your soldering I had a similar problem before.

And try to dump the nands when there is nothing connected to the plug,because I have heard reports of people having the non matching dumps when their subwoofer is on or there is another device that is using the plug like a soldering iron.

thanks for the assistance, but i have matching dumps from the rgh process, but when i create an image to update the dash version, the images are slightly different every time i create one, i wondered if this was ok.
seems strange that the original dumps match, but i create a 14719 image 5 times and none match.
the freezing wasnt there before i updated to 14719, so i dont think its a soldering issue.
more a 14719 dash issue with creation or compatibility, but im guessing which is why i posted on this forum, for ideas.
