I bought a console of ebay which had the E74 error. I fixed it and now I come up with a screen that says.
"Update Failed
Couldn't find your Xbox 360 Hard Drive. If the hard drive is attached, contact Xbox Customer Support or go to www.xbox.com/support
PV: 2.0.7363.0 CV:2.0.8955.0"
As I found in a similar thread
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=705619
that probably means Previous Version (2.0.7363.0), Current Version (2.0.8955.0).
It would seem as if it's latest update failed. Now I could put a hard drive in to fix the issue but I risk completing the update to 8955 or above which would make it impossible to J-Tag. But if I do nothing it may stay at 7363.
My primary question is if I attempt to JTag what chance would I have of success. Or do you think a partial incomplete failed update will have blown the eFuse. In that case I may just update it to the latest FW.
(Console has FALCON motherboard)
