I have looked at the the alternate pointe tutorial by xmods top notch I must say. I am wondering it states to use pinheaders to rebuild but I do not have any is it possible to solder wires directly to the j1d2 alt points. I have another pickle I'm trying to get sorted my computer has given me an error message saying device is unknown and malfunctioning so windows has stopped it from working is the NAND x toast? I want to get this console jtagged ASAP. Thanks guys in advance

Error has been solved nand -x is toast malfunctioning on several systems with varied os.

Error e 71 on this console boots naturally and freezes before dash. Worth saving??

I have done no nand writing dumped nand to confirm exploitable console boots almost to dash zephyr board console had issues prior to installing nand x the console was broken upon arrival

E71 sounds like something wrong with a nand file. It's worth saving. If you solder well just run the wires. Pinheader is recommended cause it's easier. Think about sticking two different wires in the same hole. It'll be a pain but possible.

Got a new NAND x on the way so I'll just rebuild it with the pinheaders as instructed soldering has never been an issue. If my NAND is corrupted what's the best way about rebuilding an image would I just use a clean donor image. I dont have any original dumps if someone had messed with it prior. Just out of curiosity can I write xell obtain CPU and extract all the necessary components kv info etc and build with a clean image. It e71s right before dash. Just trying to figure a way to get this working
