RGH Jasper 0022 Issues

Alright so I have been reading and trying things for the past 3 days to get this Jasper 16mb to work. I am at my wits end and would appreciate any advice you guys might have.

Brief history:
Tried to rgh box back in November for a friend. I have done a few Jtags in the past without problems but this is my first glitch.

Got good nand dumps, but had problems with power after flashing ecc. Traced problem back to the qsb and the stby_clk point but ended up lifting the pad when removing qsb and just doing wires.

At the time I didnt know about not getting power when the pad was lifted and thought that I had flashed a bad ecc file (wrong smc was my guess plus known problems from 360 multi builder 0.3)

I tried to reflash stock but couldn't read or write to nand and after trying to short it into spi mode a bazillion times I eventually removed the CR and gave up on the box.

So it's been sitting in the pile for the last 4 months or so and I decided to take another look at it. Figured out the stby_clk problem and repaired it to the trace. I immediately wrote the original nand back and was greeted by a whole new problem, RROD 0022 error after about 28 secs every time.

I reinstalled the CR and flashed a new ecc created from my original nand in hopes of getting anything at all out of this thing. The CR flashes green on boot and sometimes once or twice afterwards but the center green led on my rol never flashes, it is just a steady green. If I open my dvd drive it flashes and the rol spins when I hit the sync button but never when it should be booting.

I can give more information and post pictures but I have been through damn near every post and suggestion about this problem and nothing ever changes so my main question for now I guess is why does that light not flash? Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

P.s. No I have never gotten it to glitch or boot xell, nor do I have the cpu key.

Thanks for any help.

Here are some pictures of my soldering if that helps at all

At this point I'm pretty much between the cpu being fried or something wrong with the nand. Just cant figure out why it doesn't ever seem to try to boot even.

Sounds like it may be a hardware problem. So to get this right it turns on for about 28 secs or so then RROD's with the 0022 secondary?

I have several boxes with 0022 and 0020 and have yet been able to fix any with those codes as it could be a number of problems. I've tried everything from reflowing/reballing GPU, reflowing ram, southbridge, ect.

Most of these boxes were worked on previously which I believe is the problem as there is likely damage somewhere along the traces, delamination of the board, or a dead/missing capacitor/resistor.

I wish you luck as I've never had luck with these codes.

I got 0022 on a xenon here i finally just flashed back to stop. turned out nandpro2b was doing something weird. used autogg to flash the original nand back and it booted first shot.

That's good to hear Mister_X..

It's a crappy code because it could be one of so many different problems

Yes when I have the retail nand flashed with CR removed and with it installed in both Nor and Prg switch. With ecc flashed it just sits with a solid green light. CR debug light flashes once right when I turn it on and then usually once or twice more before it stops and system sits with solid green center light on rol.

That's pretty weird, wish I had that kind of luck lol. I've tried nandpro 20b, 20d, and 30a. Maybe I'll give autogg a shot as well. I'd try Jrunner but I use an lpt cable. Glad someone got one fixed.

Thanks for the reply, yes I have tried building the ecc with Jrunner, 360 multibuilder, and some older version of Jtag Tool i had on my computer with the lpt port. None of them gave any different results.

One thing I should mention I guess is that my nand reads have been more inconsistent then usual. I read the jrunner ecc 5 times after writing it to test and only two matched, the others had different values in separate blocks but only 1 or 2 inconsistencies total.

Yea that's what I was leaning towards too. I don't mind so much losing the system, I just hate not being able to figure stuff out. Ahh well what can ya do. Guess I'll toss it back in the pile, maybe look into it in another 4 months lol. Maybe I'll have what I need to read POST then and get a better idea.

Thanks for trying to help guys.

Sorry for my language
The only reason 0022 after RGH
If the xel does not boot
Only 50 blocks first nand Burn
because nand not great
this is nand error only
because nand checker & nandpro every version and cmd fc Many bugs and not trust
only only nand error
