Jasper 16 mb wierd problem

ok i installed the coolrunner it glitches fine boots in seconds, but then the fans go full speed like its going to take off, what could be the problem?

Could you have disturbed thermal paste? Did you lift motherboard out by CPU?

Also, assuming you've added back the fan shroud etc?

no allways by the front usb, and another thing if i boot into xell its fine and doesnt do it im stummped ive done jaspers before.

Watch the temps using FSD or XeXMenu to see if any of them are rising.

Like krafter said, if the temps rise you know it's a thermal paste/ heat sink issue. If the temp is regular, then it's probably a wiring malfunction

cpu 36.c gpu 82.7 and rising so somehow ive moved the thermal paste so what you recomend artic silver and xclamp removal?

Before you go through the trouble of removing the heatsink, press down on the gpu heatsink and see if the temps stabilizes. If it does then its a simple thermal compound replacement and if not the you could be looking at a deeper problem.

fixed my the green wire somehow got trapped and cut slightly causing a short good job i looked at all my wires and soldering again, shes working fine now so you can close this thread thanks again all who replied.
