you'll need a donor nand to inject in to. You'll need your CPU key, CB version and LDV number to do it.

before you do that, run this on your new 64MB nand:

nandpro nand64.bin: -r64 smc.bin 0 1

Paste the output including flashconfig.

Okay, for a donor NAND I have a few 360s sitting at my house. Will it need to be from a 256 jasper as well??

I'll also run that cmd as soon as I get home tonight, get to go meet with a wedding photographer. Hoooraay.

Martin, thank you so much for your patience and assistance with this.

take your LDV number from XeLL (count the FFs in lines 7 and 8).
Put that number in options_r.ini in Multi_builder.
run that nand.bin through multi_builder and make a retail NAND with it.

Flash to your console with rawflash and make sure it boots.

fuseset 07: ffffffff00000000
fuseset 08: 0000000000000000

So, the ldv number is 8 right?

Re-injected ecc so I can start xell so it can pickup xenon.elf to do the nandflash.bin flash.

Flash started then it did it's "block 0x15b seems bad, status 0x00000240" then it did processing block 0x0200 of 0x0200

Still boots up fine into retail dash, though....So, that may be good??

Alright, so now that I was back to a retail dash booting fine...I tried to start from the beginning(Read retail nand, created ecc, injected ecc, created new nandflash, flashed new nand.). Still no dice.

It will always boot to xell, just not the hacked dash. Hmph.

You don't need to keep recreating ECC!!!! You have the CPU key, yes?

Tell me you understand the process - please.

1. Make sure you boot to retail dash.
2. Dump the nand:

nandpro usb: -r64 nanddump.bin

3. use multi_builder along with your cpukey.txt file to create a glitched image. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING IN LDV IN OPTIONS.INI!! It will override the nand which you know works.

4. Either flash back using nandpro (nandpro usb: -w64 nandflash.bin) or rawflash.

If this doesn't work, post the nandflash.log it creates.

Whoops, guess I wasn't clear on the process of the ecc. Yes, I have the CPU key.

Yes, that's exactly what I've done with rawflash at the end. I haven't tried nandpro though, I'll try that tonight and post the log.
