Hi,

Please can someone help, when reading the nand with Jtag Tool the first read produced errors so i did two more reads that came back as a match but they both seem to be corrupt and won't open in 360 Flash Tool (program just crashes). I have the CPU key as Xell was installed okay, i've tried to put the key into a donor nand but i'm not having much luck.

Thanks
Rich

What have you and haven't you done already?

Did you program the ECC without getting a good nand read first??

If you have logs from the nand read, post em.

Jtag tool came back with with matching Nand reads and allowed me to carry on and create & flash .ecc, xbox boots to Xell and i can get the CPU key but when i try to move to the next step i enter the CPU key from Xell and Jtag Tool says 'Error Checking Key'.

Thanks for the suggestion, i haven't tried that so will look for the program and give it a try. Tried the repair tool in Jtag Tool but it came back with errors.

Using Jtag Tool i got two Nand reads that compared so i was able to proceed to the next step, created and wrote the .ecc, boots to Xell and can see the CPU key, try to go to the next step in Jtag Tool but it says 'Error Checking Key'.

With Jtag tool are you using the original NAND dumps (pre ECC flashing) or did you use the ones which you had matching after dumping post ECC writing?

I've repaired the nand and got the cpu key to correspond but now the xbox won't turn on at all, nothing happens just the red light on the cool runner.

Okay thanks DGENX, i have looked into the donor nand quite a bit but just can't seem to follow it all, the trouble is i think the only thing that is any good is the CPU key, i think the rest is for the bin!
