Description of problem: At first i tried the setup where i used a LPT port because other forums just suggested it worked and they did not really point out how useful rater is on the R-JTAG. So after trying all the settings and the alternate cpu_rst i ordered the jr-programmer. Right now it does not get past 0x4B LZX_EXPAND, tried all the voltage settings and all the dips.

Write back your stock NAND and see if it still boots.

If you get 0022 RROD, your CPU is fried.

In the case of a spelling error, I blame Tapatalk.

Yes, detached red wire to r-jtag unhooked post flex cable and flashed nand back. Now it gives me the 0022 RROD

Well, are there like any alternatives? and how is it possible to fry your cpu in this process?

I believe shorting CPU_RST to ground would cause this, but I am not 100% certain.

The only "alternative" to a fried CPU is to replace it with a working CPU.

Well, it just means to be even more careful next time

Thank you all, happily enough the xbox was the cheapest part next to the modchips. I will be getting another one and retry.

Well, my problem is obvious. I have used a wrong power supply for my ersa minitype soldering iron, resulting in it outputting 13 volts. This never caused me any problems (which it should to learn me a lesson) but when soldering near the CPU (cpu_rst) this should have killed it. Thanks for your help, another thing i have learned

Did you solder to RGH points when your motherboard was in stand-by mode, i.e. power cord plugged-in ? This is the easiest way to kill the CPU.

The voltage of your soldering iron makes no difference whatsoever.

I mean leaking 13 volts. Which is just the result of the wrong wattage. Well, guys i do this because i like to do this mainly, really these xboxes with a broken drive costs like 20-30 euro's so it's just a personal project. I have got the next one, and i will be more careful with installing. The whole LPT thing just screwed my nice install flow

, and this resulting in hour of blind testing where it should be a quicker install where i have more attention to what i actually do.

I don't think you know what you're talking about. How was your soldering iron leaking 13 volts? Are you under the impression that when you solder, you're applying voltage to a PCB??

When you are welding you apply 12V
