RGH jasper 16mb weirdness....

hello all i've done quite a few of these rgh's now... nad i've done the jaspers and i have this one 16mb small big nand (whatever that is)... everything looks good and worked find... i flashed the ecc got the keys, flshed back the image, great boot times etc... now i put it back in the case and guess what ?? IT DOESN'T BOOT at all... so i open up and there is no light on the coolrunner at ALL... the red light does NOT turn on... can anyone help please i'm stuck badly

ok guys thanx... it had to be something with that... the green wire on the back is most problematlic for me... is there an alt for it ? (i will search for alts. just thought if someone knew of the top of their heads t.i.a.)

You may as well solder to the original point if it is still intact, the alternate is on the side of a resistor right next to it.

As I said, images will really help us to help you here :).

No red light on CR, maybe The dvd cable knocked the switch to PROG on the coolrunner when u put everything back together

happend on my slim the culprit was the long case screw when i put that in it cut thru my wire was easy enough to fix just make sure u dont do the same thing lol

thank you everyone for their input "it was my fault".... i re-checked and re-touched ALL connections and made sure they are securely in place and it was prolly the green one as it's the only problematic one for me (as far as install) but i got it all connected correctly and it's working now but still slow boot times... i will post some pics maybe someone has some suggestions on the wire tweaks.

Hi.
Have you bridged the cap on the coolrunner(rev b) to improve the boot time. If you have a rev a coolrunner then you need to add the cap
