RGH Jasper (16mb) won't load into XELL, any ideas?

I doubt it's the coolrunner TBH. It's either a very stubborn jasper or a solder issue somewhere.

If i get time tomorrow ill re-do the hole thing with new CR and new wires, new solder.

Im sure its not my solder, have bin soldering since PS1 and made tons of PS2, xbox, xbox360 dual drive-mods (hitachi) so im confident that my solder is ok, have re-solder all once before, but il give it at shot with all new tomorrow if i can get the time.

If its still a no go then i flash back the original nand and let it be original for now.

What did you use to program the coolrunner?

Are you definitely using +w16 to write the image back?

Can you hear the console try to glitch every 5-6 seconds?

Do you want to upload your image and I'll make an ecc for you (in case that's the problem)?

The original USB xilin, same as the other CR an MT i program and working.

Dont know its jtag tool that make that part, just klik on write ecc, i made other RGH with same software so it shold be right, i can look at the log tomorrow.

Sry for posting in your thread . i have one question . what did exactly when cr trying to glitch ? fan's changing their sounds ?

yeah - you hear the fans do a 'pulse' every 5-6 secs.

I'll just throw out there that my Jasper 16mb refuses to glitch with the cap between GND and A. Without, it glitches on the first or second attempt every time.

Not sure if you've tried without it or not, but it's worth a shot.

I have try this, firt with no Cap and then with Cap

I try with new CR, new wires, new install and the ecc Martin genereatede, bot with and without Cap, and still no go.
Its now back to original NAND dont want to use more time on this one.

Shame you couldn't get it sorted. You never posted a pic of the wires soldered to the coolrunner though. Did you ever take one?
