I did search for this problem but wasnt for a jasper and didnt want to hijack his thread, but I have this jasper my first one to try the RGH on (havent got my chip yet) but i have done 100s doing the original jtag method.

I do have a glitch chip that works (well did) and was only trying to get the DVD key off this cuz the drive is fried, there is a burn hole in it from what ever happen to it (must have been plugged in wrong or something cuz its bad) but i was just gonna get the DVD key and flash a drive for it and resell it.

Anyways, the glitch wasnt working on this so i unhooked everything and reflashed the NAND back, the first 2 when i was trying a week ago and then again yesturday. The reason why i didnt finish last time is cuz it RRoD on me with a southbridge error or hana chip reflowed both and it booted back up. I have been trying to write the original back and i keep getting 0022 error and and it dont want to boot now. In the other post i found they mentioned that they had the same problem and when they wrote FB it worked fine.

I guess i want to know if anyone else has had this problem and if writing FB will fix it. After i get the CoolRunner first.

Yea im pretty sure its not my soldering. But will post pictures later so you can see.

And yes after it wouldnt boot with the chip i had i rewrote the original back and was just gonna wait till i got my Coolrunner and go from there.

And so you know how i do this. I heat the point im soldering from the bottom of the board and insert the wire. Doing it like that ive never had any problems. And will post the other photo when it gets to my email.

Sorry mate, but them pictures dont help at all, quality is poor, one thing I will say though, on the first pictures and the wire to the left looks crap, hole should be filled with solder to ensure a good connection, why are you using pins to solder onto though?

Yea they were taken with my cell phone. and if you payed attention to how i said i solder them in i heat the hole that i am working with from the bottom of the board and push the pin through (why i use the pins) i do all the soldering from the bottom of the board and have never had a problem doing it this way. the only one i have problems with going from the bottom is pin 6 for the ground, since that one needs to be heated up more for the solder.

So i removed the wires and installed the QSB's i had for NAND-X and still the same thing. Tried both files i have for the system, the first one i read like a week ago, and then the other one i read the other day after i got it working again.

Naw when i got it, it was on 13599, something happen when i was trying this before and it RRoD on me with southbridge error, reflowed the southbridge and booted back up, when i did everything before i read the nand, wrote ecc and everything, and then wrote original back. And after i tried with my chip again it wouldnt glitch thought something was wrong with the chip so i figured wait for my CR and just use that. But after it wouldnt glitch i wrote original back and now the 0022 error.
