Hello.

I have a jasper 512 and a problem. I dump nand, program CPLD and install wiring correct. X360 witch stock dash boot great, in 13604 or 1499, doesnt matter, it working great. But when i flash ecc, glitch image, freeboot( best pig, multibuilder or ggbuild doesnt matter ) i hear it try to glitch, but cannot boot. My coolruner works, led flash, i chech voltage levels and their changing.

RGH works fine earlier, but i have problem witch freezing. Finding solution i flash it witch 14699 dash. Correct LVD and back to 13604.

And just one thing, i try erase nand. But flash it witch my oryginal nand and it works. I create ecc using this nand and still notching.

Please help if you can.
Chears.

Hello. Yes i try cap 68, 400, 680. Wires are good, far from coils.
The cap that comes with the coolrunner now is a 683, so 100x the size of what you tried. Might make a difference.

And just to verify, you're flashing the ecc with "nandpro usb: +w64 image_00000000.ecc" ??

i try 68, 400 and 680. And after i update dash xbox boot fine without cap.

Yes, led is flashing, voltage levels are changing. Sot sure they are correct, but i see life there ;)

I make some testing. I connect coolruner to programer again. I start impact and try erase chip. Then tools give me error that i connect 2 cabbles wrong. I correct that and impact tools see my coolruner again, but no programed, bellow name of chip its say "bypas " So i program it again, solder wires but no luck, still no glitch. I think chip was good before testing and i mess up.

I am not sure where to search. Hardware looks fine, ane I try so many ecc and glitch images, all for nothing.

Yes, i flash it just like you say. I try use jtag tools, x-nand healer and nandpro.

i powered it from x360 +3.3 and gnd (dvd power supply cable ).

After erasing nand, i flash my nand witch command:

nandpro usb: -w64 mynand.bin (correct lvd ) xbox boots and working fine.

then I make ecc using image mynand.bin, same as flashed earlier , and flashed ecc

nandpro usb: +w64 myecc.ecc.

And its no working. I dump only 64 mb of my 512 nand, so meybe there is a problem ? no 512 mb flashed to nand ?

did you accidentally connect the vcc to other points of cpld when xbox was turning on ?
i mean when you tried to add caps ?

i dont think so. CPLD is holding by two sided tape plus it seems to be working fine whole time

i never solder when xbox is on, and never just hold caps for testing only.

Check the wires coming from the coolrunner itself, I had one Jasper that wouldn't boot until I moved the green wire to connect to the pad from the left side (facing the opposite direction of the others) and running it through a separate hole in the board, booted perfect after that.
If the green wire was running net to any other wire, even close the 360 just wouldn't boot.
Might be worth a try.
