If I want to flash this phat Jasper 512 back to 100% stock, do I use +w64 or -w64?

Why would you not use j-runner? Give it a try.

Regardless, I have an extra X-Box 360 Falcon board laying around... I might try to just mod that one instead since hopefully it will boot better than the Jaspers. If not, I'll probably just buy a pre-modded system I guess.

As its only freezing this will be an easy fix if you take your time, I have two jaspers that did this and just a bit or re-routing and insulating cured the problem in no time. Seems a waste after you have got this far.

It does, but it enters command line for you so you don't have to ask if your commandant are correct.

Incorrect, jrunner handles read/write independant of nandpro.

I would say it's equally important to get this right as it may prove to be a stumbling block on his next one. Falcons are easy to glitch, however there are plenty of people who even struggle with these.
