Every time i create an XeBuild image for this box i get a ******* WARNING: could not patch SMC reset limit! error

I have tried everything. At first i thought maybe my soldering job was bad, so i re-checked it and it looks fine. I dont have any pics at the moment because I am at work.

I even tried using a donor NAND to create a jtag image just to test, and the only thing I used of my own was my CPU Key and DVD Key. Still the same error.

Any idea what causes this?

Console Type: Jasper
NAND size: 512
Dashboard version: 16537

oh i forgot to say,
This box boots xell and rjtag dash fine. within 2 cycles usually. everything runs and works great. except on the rare occasion it takes over 5 cycles to boot, then it gets the 3RROD. Ive read this is because of the smc reset error I am getting.

Have you tried using the jasper.bin from the clean_smcs folder in J-Runner/Common?

Just copy to xebuild/data and rename to smc.bin. Build your image again.

No. It updated fine when I first unpacked jrunner. Downloaded new files and updated the main software from 3.1 to 3.2

I just used the clean SMC file to create a retail nand. then i restarted j-runner and used the updflash.bin created first as the source. selected jtag, aud_clamp and r-jtag. set dash version to 16537 and clicked create xebuild image button. same results.

i'm on a similar boat as the OP. i managed to create an original nand with the clean smc but it still doesn't let me make a custom one for rjtag. i'm adding my files below (kv, cpu key, rgh2 nand dump and my attempt to convert back to original)
i gotta say my "original" must be messed up or something because when i write it, the thing doesn't boot to original dash (it was working with rgh2 nands, just the boot times were insane). do i need to re-create ecc specifically and rewrite it separately or is a general nand rewrite enough?

What's preventing you starting a new thread and completing the template?

because my and OP's consoles are nearly 1:1 the difference is that his CB is 6754 while mine is 6752 and his dash is a bit lower.

but yeah, ok i'll go make a new one
