im thinking about buying a Jasper 512mb dash below 7371 that supposedly has a bad flash....3RROD at the moment, the guy says that he has some good nand dumps, said that he flashed a modded flash at thats what gave him the 3RROD

Whats do you think chances are of recovering the unit?

Thanks for your help

Jaspers can be a pain if incorrectly flashed with the wrong SMC, and you may need to short the nand in order to re-flash, that is worst case senario though!

As long as you definatley have a good nand dump and the board is not damaged due to porr soldering, you shoul dbe ok. I would want to see it first though!

You don't have short the nand because it still starts with RROD.
Just take the KV.bin and flash it into xell(free60).bin for the Jasper BigBlock.
Like this, nandpro free60.bin: -w16 kv.bin 1 1

Flash this to the nand with the Nandx, LPT or USB connection.

nandpro lpt: -w16 free60.bin 0 (I used LPT for exemple)

It's only 50 blocks, so that fast.

Take the power off for 30.sec.

Than start-up the Xbox, now it must boot into xell(free60).

After that you can flash XBR on it or your freeboot you made for this Xbox.

It's only
