ANSWERED Jasper BB with Slim Demon

Hello,

Ive a slim demon here and want to put it in mine jasper bb. If i buy the BB addon can i put it on a slim demon and will it work?

I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work.

You will probably need to use two 2.2K Ohm resistors instead of the BB upgrade.

finally got the 2.2k resistors
Now im just wondering were to connect D0 and D1. I see X1 and X2, should i connect D0 to X1 or X2?

In order for the SMC/southbridge to init a 16MB (SB) NAND, the I/O points for 0 and 1 need to be dealt with differently. Look at the resistor config of any 16MB phat compared to a BB jasper and you'll see the resistors for I/O 0 and 1 are different.

Basically it adjusts the flash Config so that the Southbridge is able to communicate with a 16mb nand when the demon is enabled.
