Re: Please help this new guy with an R-JTAG / Jungleflasher issue
TX Product(s) used: J-R Programmer, R-Jtag V1.1, X360usb Pro V2
Console Type: Jasper
NAND size: 16 GB
Dashboard version: Latest
CB version: 16487 (may need to edit once at home!)
Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner: t.b.a.

Description of problem: Flashed retail dash back to NAND - now only green flashing light on console with no boot?

Was the console working before you started
: YES! Everything but a corrupt Liteon drive (PCB blown)

Do you get a green debug light appear on the RGH chip every 4-5 seconds: YES

How long is the light on for each time: 1-2 seconds

After making a "mess" of soldering in my nandx wiring (finally did it right), and writing bad blocks (Xell) on to my nand, my MOBO no longer had any power? I've restored power to the MOBO by reading, thanks guys, and bridging 44-47 leads to the nand via a flat head screwdriver. Following this, I thought I successfully wrote my retail nandbin.1 back to my Jasper, but after removing power from the console for 30+ seconds and trying to boot to the dashboard, all I get is a single center green flashing light on the console......and no boot! Can you help me with this Team? I've considered shorting the pins again and trying to boot again, but I'm a little leery of doing so! So, any suggestions as to what to do will be greatly appreciated. (I've disconnected my R-Jtag from 5v power through all of this cause I wanted nothing interfering with the writing back of the retail.....start fresh so to speak) HELP!

I can't check your dump for errors using only JRunner's picture...

Apologies! How do I upload my nanddump.bin for you to check?

also don't connect the broken drive and try RCA video cable. + post images of your soldering, maybe there is something damaged

Thanks for the advice. I have NOT attached the bad drive during this process, so I already know that the drive is not the culprit to no boot. Not sure what you mean by try RCA video cable though.....I have the original 360 RCA cables...I've tried booting with and without....same result. No boot.

Question - by me posting my NANDdump.bin available for the world to look at...doesn't that make it open for theft and anyone to use it? (not that it's working anyway!)

Write Xell, and attempt to get the fuses from the CPU(CPU_Key, CB LDV, and LDV) then we can walk you through writing a new retail nand, as if I remember correctly you dumped your nand, then updated, so if you wrote back the original nand dump it wouldnt boot because of ldv mismatches, which cant be repaired without the CPU_KEY and other fuse information from xell.
