RGH JASPER CB 6571, CR Blinks Twice, Screen Still blank. Doesn't Boot

Hi All,
Before you guys say i`m a noob, i`ve done at least 40 Jasper sets without any issue. Just this one is EXTREMELY Fussy and i`m stumped. I hope you can help me out.

System is still stuck at ECC, i can't boot xell for some reason.

On CR, It starts up, blinks twices, and stays red. Sometimes the Green light blinks 3 times, and goes off.
The screen is still BLACK.

Due to the CB being 6571, i used multi builder 0.7. It generated the ECC file using a DONOR nand. Flashed it, that didn't work.

I used +w16 image_00000000.ecc to flash.

Read the forums, some told me to use Multi Builder 0.2, and nandpro 2.0e. Tried that. same EXACT result as above.

For some reason, i`ve read, it blinks green. but screen stays black. I can't figure out a solution. It's not my wiring for sure, as i`ve done many successful glitches on jasper. It's just this one jasper that make it so complicated.

I`ve also flashed back stock nand with CR in PROG Mode, It boots perfect with no errors. In Normal, i believe i get a 0022 error rrod.

Would Martin the super MOD be so kind to help me figure this one out. I`m TOTALLY out of solutions.

I'd just like to point out something you didn't cover, have you added soldered the 68nF cap across CPU_PLL_BYPASS and GND (or bridged the points if you have a CoolRunner Rev B)?

if it rrod on boot of org nand when set to nor, then there is something wrong with wire soldering

I`ve added a 68nf Capacitor between the GND and A Points, as well as a 48nf cap between the D lines and D wire. RevB? I haven't seen this batch yet, i`ve got 50 chips mixed revs. Not sure about the bridging of points on RevB Chips?

Okay, wait, if i flashed back to stock. And in NOR with chip inside, the system should boot up perfect?

Yeah, i`ve been reading all night, cause i`ve been stumped by this jasper. Grrr, annoying little Jaspers. LOL!

Anyway, i`ll try flashing back the stock nand and see if it boots when the chips is in NOR mode. Give me a couple of mins to try that out.

Okay, Good News, Reprogrammed the Original NAND, and Coolrunner in NOR, system boots up perfect. Ideas?

Since it boots fine with the chip in normal. Means my points are alright right? I then flashed back the ECC file, using nandpro 2.0e. Flashed once, stopped flashing again, No image, Nothing. Just the Green light on the xbox front blinking (no dvd drive plugged in).

Oh GOD, why xell why wont you boot!

Can you take some pic's of your wiring, top and bottom close up as you can? Could be intereference from the mobo or just wire placement or length or size needs to be adjusted.

I don't think it's wiring since i`m wiring it the same way i wire all my other Jaspers and they boot within 10 seconds most of the time. :(

I`m starting to think that the ECC file may be the one causing an issue. Is there a way i can use a FULL DONOR 512mb Jasper BB NAND and generate the ecc file, would that work instead?

Well multibuilder v7 will use a donor for cb 6571 already...also sometimes on a 512 jasper you need to change routing of your wiring to make it work. Try using a thinner wire 30 gauge. But for gn and vcc should be thicker. Anyway pic's could help us help you. 512 jaspers are just finicky little bastard's in general.

Yeah! I know man.
I`ve just rerouted the wires using the original Wires that came with the chip. Placement like how it's suppose to be placed in the official guide.

Still no go, it glitches, i can hear, after 3 green flashes on the CR, it stops. which only makes me think that it has been glitched.

Originally i was using AWG30 for all the points (which i usually do and booting times are FAST).
It glitches once, and then green light stops, which means it has been glitched as well.

Problem is, nothing shows on screen. I`ve tried using another Jaspers .ECC file. Exactly the same error.

I`ve also added two 680pf Caps in Parallel. Still does 3-4 blinks, and stops. Means it has been glitched.

Don't understand why there's no picture. And it's not the video cable. I`ve tried component and standard composite. Still no go. :(

(customer is gonna kill me)

Have you tried switching coolrunner to phat instead of slim, never know.

Also try another coolrunner and start without the caps. If that don't work. You could try different size caps, like 100, 220, 270 440, etc...

move D(cpu rst) wire to top of mobo but go under mobo behind fan and back up to top point...keep wires off the mobo as best you can with tape but also leave them loose(dont tape them down too hard). Just keep trying different things, I had a stubborn 512 or 2 and finally got them working after trial and error. Also, it def sounds like you know what your doing and talking about. Just trying to help you out.
