followed the entire procedure:
installed NandX
Installed Coolrunner (programmed via Nand-X V3)
double checked solders, pins, pads and stuff...
dumped nand 4 times and checked
injected ecc file and got the CPU key.
created the nand image with different tools (jtag tools/multi builder), but the results are the same:
BLACK SCREEN if i press ON/OFF button
XELL if i start from Eject.

What the hell is going on?
where i miss what ?
please help...:(

I would bet you didn't wait long enough for the boot - it may be you need the 68nF cap on there......but the two guys above me are WAY above my understanding on these matters, so I'll leave it to them :D

i'm using a VGA cable, the Xell loaded the forst time when i injected the ecc file was with blue screen
now after the freeboot image is with black screen.

i forgot to write that i have also a RROD (just one , the one of the classic E74 error i think).

the coolrunner try to glitch a few times then the RED light start blinking, BUT with the black screen.

i'm tried to flash the original nand again inside, and the result is a screen with E74 error and a RROD with just one red light blinking...

is my original dump fu**ed up? that's why?

added also the capacitor to the coolrunner to speed up the hack...but without any effect

Martin C: you're right...
flashed the ecc with xell, and then used rawflash directly from USB and all done....
now it's just booted with dashboard...
can you tell me why in your opinion programming from NAND-X there's this problem?

TBH, no idea. Without seeing how you have it soldered in it's hard to tell. Remember there's no verify on read/write in NANDPro so it wouldn't have taken much for a block to fail the write process and you not know about it.

Had the same issue, black screen, red light on CoolRunner and green led flashes every 5sec. Solved simple with swith on CoolRunner from Phat to Slim. My xbox is Phat Jasper 256. Xell runs from the first time. Thanks a lot for great work
