Hello,

ive bought an jasper (elite) xbox.

And it has an 0001 error, psu was fine. Opened the console, and i saw 9 blown capacitors(1500uf 16v). Desoldered them all.

now i want to buy new ones, but what could have been the problem ? iam afraid when i replace them they will blow again.

some mosfets i need to replace ?

Can't really help you. But capacitors are cheap. You can't lose anything when you replace them. I have seen falcon with maybe 20 leaked capacitors and Xbox was working.

I don't have that knowledge to tell you what could happen. But still it is 5+ years old. Maybe first owner did something.

I am sure, somebody more experienced can help you.

U.K.
The usual killer of caps is heat or been run too close to there max voltage too long. If theres room go up in voltage to like 24v they'll run a bit cooler so should last a bit longer.

Oké then I will order the 24v 1500 uf caps, first test with the replacement caps then when it does not work test the mosfets u6f1 u6f2?

The strange part is that this xbox didn't ran long. It is almost dust free and the warranty seal was still intact.
